We just wanted to say how wonderful you’ve all been in arranging my sister-in-laws recent funeral. From the first phone call, Anand was brilliant – he was so supportive, caring and respectful and nothing was too much trouble. Anand led us through all the details with such care and attention taking on some of the difficulties with calmness and composure. The loss of a loved one is traumatic enough and having to deal with the funeral arrangements in these unprecedented times due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, it felt even more so that all our Sikh religious beliefs and customs were met within current Government guidelines. AFH did a fantastic job in helping the families to fulfill these. From seeing our late-sister-in-law looking so peaceful in the Chapel of Rest with Sikh prayers playing, a beautiful picture of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, with an incense burner, to the flowers that accompanied the coffin and Anand leading the funeral procession with dignity, poise and respect was so emotional and comforting. Everyone commented on how calm and organised the funeral was. A long awaited purpose built service for the Asian communities in Leeds. Really professional, friendly and helpful, available 24/7 to answer any queries no matter how small. Anand and Jas made a difficult time a lot easier and were really transparent and understanding throughout.
